Swissing Beef Roast

There are so many of you, who are just finding my blog and are commenting and emailing me. THANK YOU! It is nice to know hear that there are readers who enjoy what I am doing! Thank you for the kind words and please keep them coming! I love hearing from you and love answering any questions you may have!
I have a few new ideas for the blog that I plan to share with you in the next couple of days... For example...

Primal Kitchen, a blog I follow, has an amazing idea! She posts pictures of the preschoolers lunch box, almost daily. It is so refreshing to see that another family is eating the same we do and her preschooler is enjoying it too! She has some great lunch (lunchbox) ideas. Make sure you go check them out!

Here is a 3 year olds plate from lunch. He will be starting preschool in September and I might have to follow her lead and start taking pictures of my boys lunches! :) Might I add, 3 year old also ate a bowl of peas!
Applegate Turkey, 1/4 Avocado, Carrots, 3 Strawberries and 1/2 Clementine
I made an amazing Roast this week. I have had a few packages of meat with "Swissing Beef" on it. I kept pushing the meat aside not knowing what "swissing beef" was. Not the case this week. I decided to thaw one out and make something with it.

This roast was my first roast not using condense soups, dairy or other not so good for you stuff! This was simple and delicious! I cannot wait to try some more roast flavors!!!

Swissing Meat was basically Roast meat. It was delicious and tender. The meat just fell off the bone.
 Roast -
Swissing Beef
1 cup Beef Broth
1 yellow onion, sliced
Trader Joe's 21 season blend

I added the meat to the crockpot with the seasonings and broth and cooked on high for 6 hours.
At hour 5, I added a bag of small carrots. The carrots steamed and cooked perfectly.

I also made some cauliflower mash! DE-LISH!!!! There is nothing left... We ate it all up!

ENJOY!

I love the idea of posting the kids' lunches! I am going to have to check that out. I get stuck on pb&j's and apples.

Swissing Beef looks delicious! My husband has this weird thing about cooking meat with veggies. He likes beef and vegetables just not cooked together.

Maybe I'll make it when he's working. :)

About the meat and veggies.... Don't add the veggies! You can always steam them! But I must add it is nice and easy to add and FORGET!!! :)

  8. I'm so glad that I found your blog. I too have been pushing aside the "Beef for Swissing" in my freezer from a whole cow that we had butchered. I had no idea how I should cook it or really what cut it is. I will be using your recipe. Thanks for posting it!

  9. We love our "beef for swissing" I often put it the crock pot on low with a qt. Of my canned tomatoes, a large sliced onion, a few garlic cloves and a cup of my bone broth. Salt as pepper as you like...add veggies if you want. It's just wonderful!

  11. I can't say much about beef as different researches shows different results. You can also go for the Acai Berry Juice to maintain good health as having them in your regular diet can help you to maintain good health for longer hours without making things really health and fit for longer run of your life.

  12. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. Is usually able to answer customer questions.
