Welcome to the first MONDAY MORNING MIX-UP!!!! I am really excited to start posting recipes dedicated to my Vitamix.

I have said it before but I love my Vitamix! I have only had it a few short weeks and I am obsessed! I am enjoying my smoothies, as I have not had a blender since this summer.

My boys are huge fans of the Vitamix, too, but because of the yumminess I am creating for them!

Please join in the fun and post your favorite smoothie recipes on my blog! I will be happy to try them and post them on my next Monday Morning Mix-up!!! :) I will not only be posting smoothie recipes, I will have baby food recipes, soups and much more! I am looking forward to this new section of my blog!!!! :)

Hi Lindsey: I dream of having a Vita Mix...that's on my wish list and I hope I can get it this year. Although I don't own one, I make green smoothies with the regular blender!!! I do a copy of the Boatload Smoothies:

    1/2 pineapple
    3 apples
    1 mango
    1 banana
    1 kiwi (sometimes 2)
    1 garlic clove
    1/2 - 1 cup of spinach
    1/2 - 1 cup of broccoli
    8 oz. of green tea
    2 tbs. lemon juice

It tastes sooo good, very sweet! I am planning to add chlorella and spirulina. Have you tried those? I am trying to eat more of this smoothies to see evidence how my health and skin improves.

Like your blog. I'm going to start reading about paleo to see how it fits into our diet. Thank you!

  2. Mayra - Thank you for the smoothie recipe... LOOKS WONDERFUL! Do you use fresh pineapple or canned?

I wanted and saved for my vitamix for over a year! It was worth the wait.

    Thank you for visiting.
